Save Money with the Dollar Tree Store

So once a month I make a trip to the Dollar Tree Store near my home. I am always amazed at the items I can purchase for $1.25 each. Yes, the price of each item is now $1.25 each, but still a great deal. First and foremost, I always look for brand names, and I always check the expiration dates on each item. I am surprised by the items I can get for $1.25 versus what I would have to pay for the same item at other stores. I always get toilet paper, paper towels and napkins. I save a ton of money on batteries and soap and shampoo. I always get the crushed garlic because if you are in a hurry to prepare a meal you can quickly take a tablespoon of crushed garlic to flavor any meal. The pork and beans are an extra large can with great flavor and you can always add extra seasoning to the beans to your liking. My sister told me about the black beans. I am going to try them and add to my plain rice dish. The olive oil is a very small jar, but in a pinch, you can use sparingly if you can 't afford a large bottle of olive oil. The small witch behind the can of beans is a motion sensor witch I picked up to decorate for Halloween. It lights up with multiple color lights and makes scary noises. The other misc. items I pick up for when I might need them. All in all a great day of frugal shopping. The great thing about the Dollar Tree is that you never know what you will find.
